Consulting Times

A clinician is available for consultation on general medical matters by appointment and telephone triage from Monday to Friday:

Morning – 08:00-12:00

Afternoon – 14:30-18:30

Extended Hours and Improved Access

Kirkley Mill Surgery will be open on Tuesday until 19:00 for pre-bookable appointments.

Appointments for our patients are currently being offered on Saturday and Sunday mornings at Bridge Road Surgery from 09:00 – 12:00. You will be seen by a member of the clinical team in the Bridge Road Surgery main building.

NHS 111

Between 18:30 and 08:00, Monday to Friday, all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

NHS 111 is for urgent cases when the practice is closed, and you need to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered, or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Emergencies

In a genuine emergency, you should call 999 and ask for an ambulance. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency.
